The Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF) takes place in Phnom Penh for six consecutive days of film celebration gathering thousands of young Cambodians as well as foreigners in theatres. The program usually highlights movies made in or about Cambodia but also a selection of films from the world in diverse formats - short and long fictions, documentaries, animation

The goal of the festival is not only to present other cultures, and exchange ideas but also to be a crossroad for young and more experienced film professionals to expose their work.

All the movies are screened in Phnom Penh’s best cinemas (Platinum Cineplex, Legend Cinemas, Major Cineplex French Institute and Bophana Center...) as well as outdoor venue (Koh Pich). This remarkable event follows the guidelines set since the first edition, to offer the best possible screening conditions and strictly respect copyright.

The CIFF has been organised by the Cambodia Film Commission (CFC) and the Bophana Center since 2010 and has now become the most significant professional film event in Cambodia.
